Dr. Roy Mason
Dr. Roy Mason serves as President of Global Evangelism Ministries. He was born, June 2, 1958 to Dillard and Alice Mason in Norfolk, VA where his father retired from the US Navy. Roy grew up in Apex, NC where his family moved in 1960.

Roy was saved at the age of eight in his home church during a revival meeting. He grew in his faith during his early years and surrendered to preach while in the 8th grade. His pastor and High School baseball coach, Dr. Bill Cashion were very instrumental in his formation as a Christian servant. Roy's first "mission trip" was under the leadership of Dr. Cashion.

His formal education includes Wake Christian Academy, Campbell University (BS), Southeastern Baptist and Bethany Theological Seminaries (M.Div. Th.M. and D.Min.)

Dr. Mason began his pastoral ministry in 1980 and served churches in North Carolina until he established Global Evangelism Ministries in 2001.The ministry operates with a Board of Directors and Board of Advisors.

Roy is married to Mary and they have two daughters and one granddaughter.

Rev. David West serves as Executive Vice-President of Global Evangelism Ministries. Prior to his joining Global Evangelism Ministries he was President of David West Ministries.
In addition to his role with us, David serves as the Command Chaplain, United States Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT). Prior to assuming these duties in April, 2006, he served as the Deputy Command Chaplain, United States Central Command from June, 2002 through March, 2006.
David earned a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral and Social Science from the University of Maryland, and an Associate of Arts degree from Anderson College.
David is married to Faye and they have two children and one grandson.

Rev. Mark Chase serves as a Senior Field Associate and Evangelist with Global Evangelism Ministries. Prior to joining GEM Mark served as the Pastor of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Andrews, NC.

Mark has a deep heart for evangelism and encouragement. In his role with Global Evangelism Ministries he leads in field projects including evangelism and Pastors conferences.
Brother Mark is married to Kayla and they have three children.

Rev. Sammy Lartey has served as the National Director of Global Evangelism Ministries of Ghana (GEMOG) since 2002. In this role Sammy plans, promotes, organizes, and facilitates all the work of GEM in the West African country of Ghana.

In addition to these responsibilities Sammy is the Senior Pastor of the Grace Baptist Church in Kpong, Ghana and the Overseer of 24 additional churches.

Sammy is married to Bea and they have five children.


Dr. Craig D. Furlough serves as the Senior Pastor of the Sand Point Church in Sand Point, Alaska.

Prior to moving to Alaska Craig served as a Field Associate with Global Evangelism Ministries where he worked on numerous projects around the world. In his current role he is looking for ways to expand the work of GEM into Alaska and beyond.
